The Professional Web Developer Program offers our students the preparation for a career in Web Application Programming and Development. It focuses on delivering real world job skills that map to the highest standards in Web programming. It is designed to give the expertise required for creating success in today’s highly demanding world. C# will be the primary language; but the program will also include XML, ADO .NET, SQL, JavaScript and more! Graduates of the full-time track will also earn Microsoft Certifications. A capstone project will be built by you throughout the program, which will be evaluated throughout your graduation process.

This course provides career training tools for developing a professional résumé, business letters, interview techniques and skills, uncovering the hidden job market; conducting marketing contacts; and building the basic skill set and assurance required for searching and obtaining a new technical position. SL94 Introduction to Programming & Relational Logic
This instructor-led course is to provide individuals who are new to programming the knowledge and skills necessary to write basic logic and transactional processes.
SL95 Visual Studio 2008 C# 3.5 Fundamentals
This instructor-led course is to provide individuals who are new to programming the knowledge and skills necessary to write basic language Fundamentals and Data Structures. Introductory Object-Oriented Concepts will be a major goal of this course.
SL95B Visual Studio 2008 C# 3.5 Fundamentals Level 2
This instructor-led course is a continuation of course SL95 and will provide greater depth of concepts and actual code authoring.
SL96 .NET Framework 3.5
This instructor-led course is to provide individuals who are new to programming the knowledge of the extended operations of the .NET framework itself. The Common Type System, Garbage Collection, Stream Objects, Assemblies and Global Assembly Caches are among the topics covered. Special attention will also be given to Collections and Generics.
SL97 SQL Server 2008
This instructor-led course provides individuals a working knowledge from the programmer’s perspective of SQL Server 2008 Database product. This will include basic database concepts, Stored Procedures and Functions, Keys and Constraints, Indexes, Creating Tables and Views, User Defined Data Types, and the T-SQL Language Fundamentals.
SL98 ADO.NET 3.5
This instructor-led course provides programming students with Data Environments the knowledge and skills that are needed to manage the ADO .NET 3.5 components. Connected and Disconnected features, benefits and Implementations will be covered.
SL99 Web Development Technologies
This instructor-led course provides programming students the knowledge and skills that are used in various Web Development projects. HTML, CSS, JavaScript create the fundamentals of nearly all web applications. This course is intended to expose candidates to the functional parameters and basics of each of these tools.
SL102 XML Technologies
This instructor-led course provides programming students the knowledge and skills of XML, the universal language tool of the Internet. Schemas, Syntax, and XML Style Sheet Transformations will provide the focus of this class. This course is intended to expose candidates to the functional parameters and basics of the Extensible Markup Language.
SL103 ASP .NET 3.5 Development Technologies
This instructor-led course provides programming students the knowledge and skills that are used in various Web Development projects. Active Server Pages is the foundation of Microsoft’s Web Programming technology. This course is intended to give students mastery skills in Page Development, Security Mechanisms, Master Pages, State Management, Personalization, and Building Web Controls.

This instructor-led course provides programming students the knowledge and skills that are used in four .NET 3.5 Technologies. Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation, Workflow Foundation, and Card Services. This course is intended to expose candidates to the functional parameters and basics of each of these tools.
